Winterday in Berlin

Standard
1929 was the coldest winter since records began in Germany, and here in virtual 1920s Berlin we’ve been suffering trough lots of snow, ice and coal shortages.
But we’ve made it (well most of us anyway) and it won’t be long before everything starts to melt.
Soon our city will be dusty, smelly and hot again so before that happens, lets enjoy winter one more day.
Sunday 23rd of February will be our annual Winterday!
During this day we will celebrate the weather, snow will fall for the last time, we’ll skate and have fun on the ice but the next day, slowly, snow and ice will start melting and Berlin will prepare for spring.
At 2pm we’ll have Happy Hour on Ice.
Join us on the Spree for some hot drinks, music and of course our annual ice skating race!
500 L$ for the man, woman or child who goes around the spree the fastest!
At 3pm we all move to the Wannsee Winterfest!
With wonderful things to do and see and some fundraising to help pay for the beach.
We’re going to have a lots of fun and it will also be your last chance to make atmospheric winter themed pictures in Berlin for a long time.
