Zeno McAuley

Standard

Once more it is my sad duty to inform the members of our community and the people of Second Life in general that one of our own has died.

Zeno McAuley joined The 1920s Berlin project in the early days and was one of my earliest and best friends.
He was involved in a million and one things and always willing to help out.

A charming and always friendly gent who made an impact on everyone he met.

A while ago he slowly became less active in Second Life but popped into Berlin now and then, usually with an alt, to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere of the sim he loved so much.

We knew his health wasn’t very good but had always hoped that the old Zeno would return again.

It was not meant to be.

If you knew Zeno, please inform as many of your shared friends of his passing.

We’re having a wake for Zeno at Der Keller, his old hangout in Berlin.
This will take place on the 15th of May at 2pm SLT.
A portrait will also be placed in our memorial garden in Tiergarten Park at a later time.

If you want to be there but are banned from Berlin or am not sure about visiting for one reason or another, please get in touch and your ban will be lifted for this gathering.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Zeno’s RL family and of course also his SL family and friends.

Auf wiedersehen Zeno.
