The Making of Modern Berlin lecture

Standard

How did a fishing village surrounded by swamps end up being named “Europe’s capital of cool?” With the help of some of Berlin’s key buildings, historian Zippedy Zabellin will peel back the layers of the city’s history to reveal some of the stories of its making and of its exciting role on the 20th century world stage.

Please join us at the Summer in Berlin theatre on Sunday, July 1st, 11am PDT, for this first installment of the Summer in Berlin lecture series. Herr Zabellin will present in voice. Refreshments and informal discussion to follow at the Summer in Berlin cafe.
