Updated map of Berlin

Standard

You may have already found it, the big map outside Station Alexanderplatz.

Because a few buildings have been changing recently I’ve decided to update it.

By clicking the map outside the station you will get a note with a big texture of the map and also links to the maps on Flickr.

It will help you find your way, not an unnecessary luxury as it can be easy to get lost in the city’s many narrow back streets.

The Berlin sim is based on a real 1920s map of the Berlin Mitte area.

You can see the map I used when building the sim here;

Original map from 1923 of the same area we roughly tried to recreate in the virtual 1920s Berlin

Sadly you will notice that RL 1920s Berlin was much bigger, had more to see  and quite a few nice buildings are missing in our sim.

Of course this has to do with the shortage of prims and lack of space.

Here you can find the new map of our sim, if you click it you will visit the larger map on Flickr and when you hover your cursor over the map names and addresses will show up.
