Gesichtenbuch

Standard

Facebook, or Gesichtenbuch as I like to call it, is culling avatar accounts.

People signing up for Google+ with an account for their avatar risk being banned as well.

Soon The 1920s Berlin Project will have its own website with so many options for social media that we won’t need either GB or Google-, but till then I’m always looking around to see what the internet has to offer for avatars like me.

Yesterday I joined Avapulse, a very basic version of facebook just for avatars.

I may not use it a lot or very long, but if facebook ever kills my account I’ve got a place to go.

More importantly, it may give me ideas for the coming 1920s Berlin site that once it is active will probably make things a lot easier to keep in contact with my virtual friends.
